25 and still kicking. i am an australian with a vietnamese background. i arrived here when i was five and from there my love of good food has grown.
i started cooking at 5 with two minute noodles after school to eggs on toast. i have always been a creative home cook and believe that anyone can make a decent meal with some basic knowledge and know how. there are so many things you can do with a packet of two minute noodles that no one thinks about. adding extra ingrediants and instead of using the packets flavouring you can instead use your own.
while i only have just started to think about cooking with the purchase of a real cooking knife (Global Cooks knife 8″) i was so surprised how emotionally motivated i was to start cooking ever week for my family. i guess with good tools you feel alot more motivated.
i currently work as an project manager for hp australia and am planning on eventually move out of the IT industry and moving on to run my own resturant. i hope to be up to this stage by 2011 when i come back from overseas.
i do hope you enjoy reading my posts and hope it also motivates you to cook. in this blog i will be presenting my own recipes and ideas about flavours, foods and kitchen equipment.
