Food Adventure builds complete culinary itineraries around the United Kingdom's most significant restaurants — not just a table for two, but the whole journey that makes the meal make sense. Every package in our catalogue starts with a confirmed reservation at a venue we have eaten in ourselves, and grows outwards from there: the drive through the Cumbrian fells, the ferry timetable to Skye, the harbour walk in Padstow before lunch, the late train back from Leith.
Our catalogue currently covers nine flagship experiences priced from £250 to £550 per person, ranging from a three-hour lunch in an unassuming Kentish pub to a two-day farm-and-table escape in the Lake District. Each one is documented in full on its own page: the hour-by-hour plan, exactly what the price includes, what it deliberately does not, how long the meal runs, how many courses to expect, and how to reach the door without stress.
What we add on top of the booking is preparation. You receive a written briefing pack seven days before you travel — dress code, dietary handling, parking or nearest station, recommended arrival window, and the two or three dishes worth saving your appetite for. Where a kitchen offers a farm tour, a cellar visit or a chef's-table chat, we arrange it in advance rather than hoping on the day.
We are deliberately restaurant-led and independent. We accept no commission from venues, which is why a £250 pub lunch sits in the same catalogue as a £550 tasting menu with equal billing. If a restaurant is not worth the journey, it simply is not listed. Tell us your dates, your region and your appetite, and we will match you to the right table — or tell you honestly that the trip should wait for a better season.

Prices shown are the complete package price per person and were last reviewed in August 2026. Restaurant menu prices are set by the venues and can change; we confirm the final figure in writing before you pay.
We regularly combine two or three experiences into a single week — Edinburgh and Skye, Cornwall and Kent, the Lake District and Yorkshire. Tell us how many nights you have and we will build the route.

A 30% deposit confirms your experience; the balance is due 21 days before the date. We invoice in GBP or EUR by bank transfer or card. Any restaurant deposit taken directly by the venue is credited against your final bill and shown separately on the invoice.
Yes, subject to the restaurant's own policy. Most venues allow a date change with 28 or more days' notice at no charge. Inside 28 days it depends entirely on whether the table can be resold — we always ask, and we never charge our own change fee.
Cancel more than 60 days ahead and you receive a full refund less a £45 administration fee. Between 60 and 21 days, the deposit is retained. Inside 21 days, refunds depend on the venue and any accommodation booked. If we or the restaurant cancel, you are refunded in full.
Sometimes. Pairings range from £75 at The Sportsman to £199 at The Fat Duck. We recommend them at The Clove Club and The Kitchin, where the lists are genuinely interesting, and suggest single glasses at venues where the menu is already very long. Every venue offers a non-alcoholic pairing.
Accommodation is included in the four experiences where staying over is unavoidable — L'Enclume, Ynyshir, The Black Swan and The Three Chimneys. For the others we recommend and can book vetted rooms nearby at cost, with no mark-up.
Up to twelve guests at most venues. Group bookings usually need four to six months' lead time and some kitchens require a private-dining arrangement. Send us the group size and dates and we will confirm what is possible before you commit to anything.
